If you need a medical when applying for, or renewing, your Heavy Goods (LGV, HGV), Coach or Bus (PCV)
or Taxi* (Hackney Carriage) licence, then I can help.
It is often difficult, and expensive, to arrange private medicals through your own NHS GP.
I only practice in the private sector, so can be more flexible regarding appointment times.
I can offer appointments on weekdays, evenings and at weekends, often within 24 hours.
I also perform medical examinations in connection with other activities such as all forms of motorsport and Scuba diving. In addition I perform pre-employment medicals and medicals for insurance purposes.
I can carry out medical examinations at your home or workplace by arrangement for £75.
*For taxi medicals only please check that your local licencing authority does not specify that the medical
must be done by the doctor who holds your medical records - some authorities, such as Middlesbrough, require this.
